Yearbook Committee
As the editor-in-chief of my high school yearbook, I led a team of 15, coordinating with students, faculty, and administrators to produce a yearbook for over 1,000 seniors. I oversaw the entire process, from design to publication, ensuring quality and cohesion.
Layout Design
During my two consecutive years on the Yearbook Committee, I spent the first year as the Head of Layout. In the following year, I continued collaborating closely with layout editors to design pages that were not only visually engaging but also truly reflective of the student experience.

Copywriting
I worked with our team of journalists and incorporated student submissions to create captions, profiles, and feature articles that captured the senior class’s experiences. By refining content to align with the yearbook’s overall theme, I ensured consistency and a clear narrative throughout. I paid close attention to detail, shaping the students’ insights into engaging, cohesive pieces that reflected the voice of our school community.
Strategic Planning
I incorporated the use of mood boards to gather and organize brainstorming ideas, ensuring that everyone’s creative input was included in the planning process. To keep the project on track, I utilized Google Sheets to manage layout deadlines and schedule photoshoots. This structured approach helped ensure a steady workflow, allowing us to smoothly produce the yearbook while maintaining high-quality standards throughout.

Communication & Teamwork
Leading a team of 15, I facilitated collaboration between various groups, from student organizations to faculty members. I ensured open communication and that each voice was heard throughout the process.
