In this series, I experimented with vibrant colors and dynamic compositions to capture the pulse of Manhattan’s streets. From the bustling, fast-paced life of its people to the intimate scenes inside a Chinese supermarket in Chinatown during the New Year, each image reflects the layered experiences within New York’s immigrant-rich environment. The transition from the urban street scenes to the cultural richness of Chinatown felt like stepping into a different world, where consumerism meets deep-rooted traditions. Through these contrasting yet interconnected moments, this collection explores how color and form can reshape our perception of the city, transforming its vibrant streets into a kaleidoscope of culture, movement, and life.
