Drawing Intergration Project

In this studio art project, I explored the theme of interconnectedness between nature, beings, and machinery through a layered approach. I began with a collage, carefully arranging various elements that symbolize both the natural world and mechanical components. After printing the collage and lowering its transparency, I drew on top of it to create a cohesive final piece.

By manipulating the placement of objects, I aimed to create a dialogue between the two realms. For instance, a human face in the top right transforms into a Detroit skyline, while a camera in the center morphs into an eye, emphasizing the idea of being watched by nature and the act of capturing our surroundings through sight. This project allowed me to reflect on the complex relationships between these elements, inviting viewers to consider how they coexist and influence one another.
